MLB 11 Opening Weekend Roster Update

With the baseball season getting underway a few days earlier than in the past it allowed the first regular season roster update for MLB 11: The Show to be even more significant. Instead of just setting the 25 man rosters the extra time provided for some of the rookies that since Thursday had made their major league debuts, such as the San Francisco Giants’ Brandon Belt, to be added to the game.

The first update of the regular season is now available and a prompt will be given upon starting up the game, though it can be downloaded through SportsConnect manually as well. For those without online access unfortunately transferring of the file has been made a “PlayStation Plus” feature. If anyone has access to it and can send it over or has a direct download link I’ll add that here. Continue on for a look at many of the moves made in this update!
