Though lacking a high profile release this week there are a number of intriguing options coming to DVD and Blu-ray. The Beaver was well received but the controversy around Mel Gibson led to the film never getting a wide theatrical release. The highest rated cable movie of the year (Phineas & Ferb) arrives on DVD and The Greatest Movie Ever Sold is another interesting documentary from Morgan Spurlock – this time taking on the movie industry and product placement. There are also two classics in Rounders and Swingers that get new Blu-rays.
