For those frustrated by Netflix’s recent actions one of the competing services is Amazon who offers streaming to Prime members. The company has announced that they have signed a deal with FOX to add a wide selection of movies and TV shows. That will add to the service which already has CBS, NBC, Sony, and Warner Bros.

Bringing on Fox means series such as 24, Arrested Development, The X-Files, and even exclusively The Wonder Years will be available to watch instantly. Amazon Prime costs $79 a year and is primarily valuable to those who make many purchases as it offers free 2-day shipping on every item and $3.99 one day shipping. The streaming service is just a bonus – though as the company increases the library it could become more appealing as a Netflix alternative.
