NBA 2K12 Coming to iOS

For the first time the NBA 2K series is heading to mobile devices. NBA 2K12 will be releasing for the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad next Tuesday. The news comes via CNET who praises the presentation, signature shot animations, and level of content included but was less impressed with the graphics and player control options.

Features include Season and Playoff modes, ‘The Jordan Challenge’, leaderboards, and two different control schemes. ‘The Jordan Challenge’ will be familiar to those who played NBA 2K11 offering the opportunity to try and re-create 10 of Michael Jordan’s most memorable performances. If there is an NBA season there will be support providing roster updates as well.

NBA 2K12 will be $4.99 for the iPhone and iPod touch and $9.99 for the iPad.
