The most astonishing story of the NBA season has been the emergence of Jeremy Lin who has practically reached superstar status overnight. Lin, who went undrafted in 2010 out of Harvard, had been cut by the Warriors, Rockets, and was literally days away from the same fate with the Knicks. However he got his chance and has scored 89 points in his first three career NBA starts which is the most for any player since 1976. He’s averaging 28.5 points on 58% shooting and 8 assists in the last four games – all of which have been victories.

None of this has been reflected in NBA 2K12 yet. Lin is rated just 56 overall and sits at the end of the bench. However there is no way 2K Sports will miss out on the opportunity to capitalize on the hot story by more accurately reflecting his attributes and stature. What do you think Jeremy Lin should be rated when the next roster update arrives?
