Videos Showcase Tebowing and Salsa Dancing Celebrations in Madden NFL 13

With a number of customized celebrations being added for Madden NFL 13 it was completely predictable that EA Sports would exploit them given the press they generate and the free publicity that could come from something as simple as a tweet from the player in question.
The first two having been singled out are of course Tim Tebow’s “Tebowing” and Victor Cruz’s salsa dance. It’s a wonder why EA feels these are somehow exceptional replications – in fact they’re riddled with inaccuracies and awkwardness. “Tebowing” isn’t even a TD celebration but that is how it’s being represented in the game. It then is somewhat surprising considering how the company is touting authenticity and especially given the image-conscious nature of the player who would seem unlikely to overlook such a gross misrepresentation.
