Harrison Ford May Be Back as Han Solo in Star Wars: Episode VII

The Star Wars news naturally continues to flow after establishing the director for Episode VII as J.J. Abrams and revealing plans for spin-offs centered on individual characters. The latest rumor comes courtesy of Latino Review, which has good credibility in the rumor-space, that Harrison Ford will return as Han Solo in Episode VII. Disney has not commented on the rumor.

It’s unclear what role Solo would serve in the new film which is believed to take place around 30 years after Return of the Jedi. It could be something as minimal as a cameo but will probably carry with it some importance regardless. Regardless it should be fun having Ford involved in any capacity. The more difficult question still to be answered…who will play a younger Solo when the character gets his own film?
