Madden NFL 16 patch tackles some exploits

It’s unusual for a patch to go out following the end of a season, but a fifth one for Madden NFL 16 – which won the 2015 award for Best Post-Release Support – went out earlier¬†today.

Unlike the past updates, which addressed issues, game balancing, and added features, this one is primarily focused on eliminating exploits. It’s probably not a coincidence it comes a few weeks after the Madden Challenge concluded where many questionable tactics were on display.

The full list of areas affected have not yet been provided but the patch does deal with eliminating some nano-blitzes and fixing untimed downs and the glitch being used to block field goals. Additional details will be added here when they become available.
