The latest roster update for NBA 2K17 has brought to a close evaluations based on the first month of the season. LeBron James remains the highest rated player in the game however for the second time this season the player immediately trailing him has changed. Earlier in the month Kawhi Leonard passed by Stephen Curry to hold that honor. Now Leonard has dropped back a point to 94 while former teammates Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant have gone up a point to 95 to share standing as the second highest rated player in the game.
Westbrook has been phenomenal this season and remarkably now averages a triple double at 31 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds. Other superstars that have started strong despite lesser talent on their respective rosters are James Harden (+2 to 93) averaging about 29 points, 12 assists, and 7 rebounds and Anthony Davis (+3 to 94) on 32 points and 11 boards. None of the three have a teammate rated above 80 in NBA 2K17.
Other notables on the move up from November performances include DeMarcus Cousins (+2 to 92), Chris Paul (+1 to 92), Jimmy Butler (+2 to 90), Damian Lillard (+1 to 90), DeMar DeRozan (+1 to 89), Giannis Antetokounmpo (+4 to 87), Dwight Howard (+3 to 87), Kemba Walker (+2 to 87), Isaiah Thomas (+2 to 87), Hassan Whiteside (+2 to 87), Kevin Love (+3 to 85), Kristaps Porzingis (+3 to 84), Joel Embiid (+6 to 83), Wilson Chandler (+5 to 81), George Hill (+4 to 80), Lou Williams (+3 to 80), Jabari Parker (+2 to 80), and Nick Young (+6 to 76).
