    The round of Golden Globe nominations were announced this morning. The 2015 show takes place on Sunday, January 11 on NBC and is hosted for the third straight year by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. Leading the way in number of nominations for movies is Birdman followed by Boyhood and The Imitation Game.     It was Argo that came away with the Best Picture Drama and Best Director (Ben Affleck) at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards. Les Miserables won three awards including Best Musical or Comedy, Actor, and Supporting Actress. Homeland came away with Best TV Drama, Best Actor, and Best Actress while the HBO movie Game Change walked away with 3 trophies as well.     The 2012 Golden Globes are in the books - here's a look at all the winners. Homeland picked up Best TV drama as well as Best Actress for Claire Danes - while Kelsey Grammer pulled off an upset over Bryan Cranston and Steve Buscemi for Best Actor with his performance in Boss.     Though the Golden Globes had some very questionable nominations for the most part there were few surprises when it came to the winners. It was The Social Network coming away with the big prize of Best Drama as well as Best Director, Screenplay, and Score. It now looks to be the clear front-runner for the Best Picture Oscar though it could face a challenge from True Grit.     This morning the nominations for the 2010 Golden Globes were revealed, with the show taking place January 16 and hosted by Ricky Gervais. The King's Speech surprisingly received the most movie nominations ahead of The Fighter and The Social Network.     The Golden Globes just wrapped up after an entertaining evening. Ricky Gervais was hilarious as the host though he only appeared sparingly.     The Golden Globes are generally entertaining due to the laid back party atmosphere. Taking advantage of that will be the host Ricky Gervais as it airs on Sunday night at 8ET/5PT on NBC. Outside of the hilarity he is sure to deliver there is some genuine intrigue in the categories this year.
