Demo coming for NCAA Football 08

One piece of news coming out of the NCAA Football Community Day was that a demo for the game is being worked on and planned for release in early July. It will be available for both the 360 and the PS3.

Hopefully the demo this year will offer a better experience than they had last year for the 360. It was made up of a full game only with one minute quarters. You couldn't get into any sort of flow with it, essentially making it a practice mode to get in a few plays before time expires. The amount of time spent with loading screens and getting through the quarter breaks was more than you actually got to play the game. I jumped into the demo a couple times but ultimately it was more frustrating than it was worth.

If they could just give us a chunk of time in a single stretch that would be ideal. Just make the demo a four minute first quarter. Please.

Nice, and I agree hopefully it isn’t that 1 min quarter BS so we can actually take something away from the demo.

I wonder if the demo version will allow the editing of NCAA Football 2008 rosters? Last year’s demo was sub-par.

For once, I wish a sports game would offer online play. Just one set game with online play is all I’m looking for.

What They Really Need To Have Is THE Demo Playable With top 8-10 teams 2min qtrs and you should be able to go threw all the sub-menus and all that so you can see everything down to the stats.
