Next-gen FIFA 21 available now for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X
FIFA 21 has gone live a full day early with the next-gen version on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Unfortunately the process to download it for those who already own the PS4/Xbox One versions (and get the upgrade for free) isn't quite as simple as one would hope. After spending considerable time trying to figure out the process it worked by deleting the PS4 FIFA off my PS5 and reinstalling the game which is when the option to select the PS5 FIFA was provided.

With only a week and a half until it releases EA Sports has finally revealed what to expect out of FIFA 21 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. The game missed the launch of the new consoles when release was pushed back to December 4. Madden NFL 21 and FIFA 21 will miss the launch of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Release of both games will instead come on Friday, December 4.
Speculation had started to build of a possible delay or even cancellation as launch of the new consoles neared and yet EA Sports would not comment on why they were not promoting the games or even selling pre-orders.

EA Play 2020 introduces first look at Next-Gen
Electronic Arts held the annual EA Play event earlier today and did so remotely with a pre-taped production. As expected upcoming sports games premiered first looks accompanied by additional details including release news. 10 hour trial for FIFA 20 now available through EA Access
FIFA 20 can now be downloaded as a timed trial with EA Access on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Additionally the trial is available on Origin Access for PC while the entire game with no restrictions has been granted to those with Origin Access Premier.
