    Whether one chooses to look at it as a feature arriving late or one that would otherwise have been held until next year if not for consumer pressure, the update bringing in a big scouting revamp for Franchise Mode is out today for Madden NFL 22.     Madden NFL 22 can now be downloaded as a timed trial with EA Play on Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. The EA Access subscription service was rebranded as EA Play one year ago and has since been folded into Xbox Game Pass as well.     Madden NFL 21 has been added to the EA Play subscription service on PlayStation and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on Xbox and PC. This is the first of the 2020 EA Sports games to be provided in full to subscribers and it includes all versions last-gen and next-gen.
