New demos hit the 360 Marketplace

Two new demos became available overnight on the Xbox 360 Marketplace.

All-Pro Football 2K8: The demo presents a single five minute quarter between the Firebirds and the Cobras. Rosters are pre-set for those teams so there is no choosing of legends. Unfortunately this demo comes about 2 weeks too late. Better late than never though.

Nascar 08: The demo features an 8 lap night race at Daytona with the choice of drivers being Tony Stewart, Denny Hamlin, or JJ Yeley. The game releases and is in stores today.

I wish I could have demo’d APF before I spent money on a Blockbuster rental… such a bad game

I didn’t like APF’s gameplay at all. I’ll still rent it next time I get into town, though.

I wish the NASCAR demo had a different selection of tracks, but it played better than I expected. I just might go pick it up tomorrow.

doodle I have been playing NCAA for the past couple of weeks and APF just doesnt compare in my opinion. But to each their own. The crowd and weather effects in APF were really neat though.

I kinda liked the gameplay at first but after playing for a few games it got old fast. Glad I rented it. Also theres glitches in there and people exploit those all the time online and not many ppl on my friends list have the game. If more people had it it would be better but playing against random people who pull bs is just as bad as dealing with the lag online. I think it could work without the NFL liscense though because I love creating my own teams from the legends but I’m not feeling the gameplay (which is most important to me). Hopefully it gets better next year but I see them sticking with the same formula. Glad I rented the APF football game instead of buying it. Its fun in its own way but no way worth $60 with NCAA already out there and Madden soon to follow

to make myself clear when I’m talking about the lag I’m talking about NCAA. I’ve seen no lag on APF

chiahatesyou….I just dont enjoy dropping 30 points every game online. It just takes some of fun of the accomplishment of scoring in a football game for me. But hey we should play what we enjoy!

“I didn’t like APF’s gameplay at all. I’ll still rent it next time I get into town, though.” – why don’t you rent games you DO like?

I’m happy with my APF purchase though, and am playing it too much to even try the nascar demo..maybe tonight although i think it’s getting stinky reviews.

Maybe it’s something I’ll warm up to. I’m not going to make a definitive answer about a game based on a five minute demo unless it was absolutely horrid. I didn’t like the APF demo, but I’m willing to give it a fair shot. Football is football, and I’m willing to give any football game a shot.
