I don't know about that Duke '86 team being the best team to lose in the title game. The team I'd want, as much I hate Duke is the '99 team. If they would have one, they would have had a case for the greatest team of all time. Player of the Year Elton Brand, Shane Battier, Corey Magette, Trajan Langdon, Chris Carrawell, William Avery. They blew everyone out, and I think they lost their two games (went 37-2) by a total of 4 points (1 in buzzer beater at the Great Alaska shootout in '98, and by 3 to UConn in the title game.

Hmmm..so no National Champion Michigan State 2000? Weird.

NO ILLINOIS

even 05

Pasta,

Keep up the awesome work. When you get a chance to verify if the game will include classic uniforms, will these uniforms be available to be worn as alternates for the current teams?

Also, will the game include alternate uniforms?

Thanks

I was kind of shocked to see some teams left off of the list. I thought 2000 MSU, 1988 Kansas, or even 1988 Oklahoma (which was loaded) included.

Santa Clara??? Nothing against Steve Nash but this is hardly a team I remember. As a matter of fact, I had forgotten he played at Santa Clara.

Teams I would have liked to have had included:

81 Indiana (Zeke)
86 Duke (the best team to lose a National Championship game - remember, 90 UNLV lost in the semis)
86 Louisville (Never Nervous Pervis)
89 Illinois (Final Four team)
85 St Johns (Chris Mullin, Bill Wennington)
90 Michigan (Ly Vaught, Terry Mills, Rumeal Robinson - Got ran off the court by Loyola)

Also, how many timeouts does the 93 Michigan squad get???
• Eski
I watched a video from 2K which shows 1982 UNC vs 1984 Georgetown.

I was disappointed to see that the UNC squad was wearing the uniforms from today. Why include classic teams if the developer isn't willing to replicate the uniforms??? Weak. The teams even had baggy shorts, which weren't in back in those days. Not that I want to see a virtual MJ in short shorts but that is why these teams are in the category of "classic".

Wow! They put in the '98 Ole Miss team, but not the '96 Miss. State team that went to the Final Four! Come on EA!

MJ IS IN THE GAME WOO
• chiahatesyou
I imagine some people are going to be working on classic rosters to go with the reg rosters
• Bumble14
So no 2000 Michigan State team? What about the 2001 Arizona squad?
• darcy Isaiah
kinda pointless because they wont have the players names so if your not up on your history of the game u dont know who your playing with.
•
Will the classic teams uniforms replicate those worn during each team's year? I don't want to see 1979 MSU wearing 2007 MSU's uniforms, etc.
Good question, I'll try and get an answer on that.

Great list, though. Super happy to see 1990 Loyola. Bring on Kimble, Gathers, Steimer, Fryer and the gang....
• Beau
no ku teams???

:(

there has to be a few from the remaining list
• chiahatesyou
