NFL Tour rosters

The full rosters from NFL Tour has been revealed by Gametap. With only five weeks to go until release we’ll be hearing more about the game now, including when I get hands-on time with it in less than two weeks.

Some of the decisions are a little puzzling, such as how a handful of teams have two QBs but most have just one. Some teams have two wide receivers while others have three or four. Why is Charlie Frye in over Seneca Wallace? Bizarre. These are the final rosters as there will be no roster updates.

Continue on to view the full rosters for each team

Brian Westbrook im asuming. Looks good though. Some of those are strange. NO Kellen Clemmons for the Jets? Come on EA. But, all in all what you gonna do. Oh, off the subject. March Madness 2008 is coming in a week. When do you get your copy? I cant wait. I really think its going to be a good game.

These are the players they should have added in the game, i was disapointed to see that they were not in. As well as a lot of OL/DL, I dont think many people would play more then 1 or 2 at a time.

Wow man, how does Shaun Rogers (Lions DT) get left off the game, thats just messed up, get rid of Kalimba Edwards for Big Baby. Ah well, other than that, I suppose the Lions roster is decent, although it woulda been nice to have Furrey. And since Tatum Bell won’t play another down as a Lion more than likely, put in T.J. Duckett instead. Thats just my 2 cents though.

Geez, they got maybe 4 teams right (Pats, NYG, Colts, Rams) but everyone else has GLARING holes! They have Chambers on the Chargers but team him with Parker? And leave off one of the best DT’s in the game (S. Rogers) and THE best Guard (Hutchinson)? Robbery…

Not that I’m intersted in playing a game like this in the least, but it does seem odd. Especially how some teams have 3 OL and others have 4. And Padre is right, how will teams like the Rams run a 3-wide set?

I guess I just don’t get how this game is going to work. Regardless, I’m on APF until next year. No EA games for me. I would have rather EA tried another “Head Coach” game than this circus.

Was Head Coach as bad/boring as everyone said? I’m considering picking it up in the bargain bin.

There is going to be another Head Coach (360,PS3) but they haven’t officially announced it yet. I’d imagine they won’t until sometime after Tour is released.

The first one was interesting. It was fun for some of the off-season stuff although it got repetitive. Where I got most frustrated was with the actual game management. People complain about the AI of opponents in Madden and here you’re relying on your team made up of that same AI. Watching your QB throw pick after pick or having runs blown up in the backfield and not really being able to do anything about it.

The game could be really good though with the right adjustments and advancements in technology. I like the concept.

    Thomas Howard (OLB Oakland)

Dude leads all LB’s in INT’s this season…might break all time record for LB’s…yet not in the game.
These guys need to do some research, even if they created the roster long before the season started, Howard had a great rookie year. No reason he shouldnt have a spot.

I was very interested in this game but the rosters are a joke! To name a few not in the game…Jones-drew*Jac, Rogers*det, Dj Williams*den, Haynesworth*ten, Andrews*phi, willis*sf, ross*nyg, Henderson*jac, Grant*gb, welker*ne, colvin*ne, thomas*ne, Landry*was, Washington*was, smoot*was. Those are just the people I realized where gone in a few minutes. Some of them are pro bowlers, rookie of the year canidates, and among the best if not the best on there teams. ANyone else seeing problems like me?

I can’t believe Patrick Willis isnt on the 49ers. How bout some others….Jones-Drew, Wes Welker from the Pats, and how bout Albert Haynesworth from the Titans? Hes a pro-bowler as well as in contention for defensive player of the year. Some of the other players for the titans, their top 3 receivers on their team arent even in the game. No Bo Scaife, Roydell Williams, or Justin Gage. I know there not the big name players but still. Ben Troupe on there has like 8 catches all year. Someone might need some help next time with these rosters

Yeah, lots of people left off the rosters, but because you have to create a player, it give you the reason to create “that player” that doesnt appear on your teams roster. INSTEAD OF STUPIDLY CREATING YOURSELF. OF WHICH NONE OF US COULD EVER PLAY IN THE NFL ANYWAY. SO CREATE WILLIS, MJD,HUTCHINSIN,RODGERS ETC.
