When people talk like that, it makes me want to just start stabbing throats randomly.

Hey Pasta one thing I dont like about the EA games this year is the shooting. U dont have to time the release or anything, I hope u know what Im talking bout. Do u think this is something that will stay or will they go back to the regular shooting were u try to time the shot at the top of the shooters jump? also is this same shooting in mm08?

Thats what ive been saying Rico, when I pump fake… Just doesnt feel right, and the release of the shot is like Temco Basketball (remember that?). Thats why I dont understand why people are praising these games, dont look or feel natural…

And I not down w/ the slider hero thing either…

    Leave them ALONE

My opinion is based on the demo and the videos I’ve seen. First off, this game doesn’t seem fresh and new. For the opening animation, they just replaced Adam Morrison with Kevin Durrant and kept the SAME EXACT DUNK animation. Even before tip-off the guys are doing the same thing as mm ‘07 with the stretching and kneeling etc. Exactly the same.
Also, this game would’ve been better had they taken the graphics from nba live’08 and added the new post play system with the new dunk animations etc. IMO the courts are TOOOOOOO Glossy. It looks as if you should be bowling on them instead of playing basketball. You have to see live ’08’s courts to see what I mean. In Live ‘08 there are slight player shadows on the court while mm ‘08 has full-on player reflections. You can even see the reflection of the ball off of the backboard. They went overboard with the court graphics which I think causes the slowdown in gameplay between the arcs.

haha your exactly right. when i noticed that in the demo I knew this game was horrible. Why dont they do the thing with the fans that say EA SPORTS ITS IN THE GAME! and then cheer or the band plays.

I already see people bashing this game. Its sad. EA has such a bad rap from 2k lovers. I have to CHoops2K8 and NBA 2K8 and they are the same game as last years versions and actually they are the same as 5 years ago. Dont get me wrong they are both good games but, they both have there issues. From double teaming issues, player edits, multiple people gaurding the same player, uniforms incorrect, and etc… Its funny because if 2k was an EA game people would be bashing it left and right. But, 2k can do NO wrong in 2kboys eyes. Its funny cause its true.

2k8`s the same as 2k3`s? I dont think so DIRTY. Most of those problems you spoke of were fixed with the patch. Live doesnt let u edit players so u have Iverson running around with red shoes on.. Im not a 2k fanboy, I dunno how someone can call somebody one because they like a product alot. I like a product that fits my style of play. I prefer 2k or ea when it comes to basketball games. So am I a fanboy?

IMO EA is all about there graphics, which are great. Im all about gameplay, which 2k provides.

    Is that you John Riccitiello?

It is sad to not like March Madness? Because March Madness is that much different than 5 years ago in comparison to CH2K8?

Well technically I guess it is because these are the same people who limited you to just over 100 team until CH2K came on the scene and they were concerned about the competition. Also that first release on the PS2 without a season mode. OH baby, you have come along way. Now figure where MM would be if they somehow got the exclusive NCAA license for basketball.

    March Madness 08

Last year we brought you a season mode, this year we let you play more than one season (XBL Marketplace points – 800 per season)

It doesnt make sense that u cant fully max out your players ratings. Theyve made that avaible in every past EA baskeball game, with the exception of 2002. Does anybody kno if there is a way to fix it?
