Two losses for us, but fun games. I loved being Center in both of the games.

good games fellas. Those were two of the best in a long time. Competitive, cleanly played and slower tempo.

unfortunately no. I wasn’t even sure I was going to be able to play today until earlier this morning, which is why I didn’t have my headset and wasn’t able to record. Kinda going back and forth between things right now.

I was staying the weekend over a friends house and was watching a couple of my friends play live on the PS3.

Now my friend’s one of those guys who won’t play any sports game without an EA sticker on it. So he never played NBA2k8 and refused to buy it.

Since I was going to be here for the weekend and we normally play real ball and video games for money when we get together I just could not get into the silliness of Live.

I made a bet with him. I’ll purchase the game and if it’s not better than Live you can keep it and trade it in if 2K8 is better you pay for this game and buy me one.

It’s just the type of relationship we have.

Needless to say, thanks to my man Nell for the pre-purchase of Grand Theft.

Pasta I know your an EA guy but Live is terrible when comparing it to 2K8.

I see your comments about the tempo.

You have to force the tempo slower on offense because you can’t slow down the tempo by playing good defense.

I don’t know how many times I saw the point guard barreling to the half court line like he’s running the 40 at the combine. It automatically throws the tempo of the game off.

There was no threat that the long inbound pass to half court could be intercepted so why walk the ball up the court.

I hate to say it but why are you guys wasting your time with Live.

I’ve played Live and 2K8 and they both are good in their own ways .
