2K Sports has released a new screenshot from Don King Presents: Prizefighter that shows off an arena and the surrounding fight atmosphere. They’ve also revealed the final box art for the game which is now (officially) set to be released on June 10th for the Xbox 360 and later this year for the Nintendo Wii and DS.

You can view the images by clicking the thumbnails below or check out all of them in the screenshot gallery.

That looks like one of the leaked ones only enhanced. C’mon 2K, you can do better than that. Give us some that we haven’t seen before.

Pasta was there a press release stating that June 10th will be the official release date, or is this just inside info? I know that Pride of St Louis event already mentions that release date but I was just wondering if 2K had a press release or something.

it has since been confirmed by a mod on the 2k forum. of course its still subject to change but that seems pretty concrete now.

World premier video of Prizefighter will be shown on Gametrailers this Friday, April 11, at midnight (which makes it technically Saturday). Here’s a promo clip showing brief footage of several games, including Prizefighter: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/32607.html
If you watch the entire clip, you’ll see a few seconds of total footage from Prizefighter which includes: a boxer wearing a robe climbing into the ring, two boxers wearing headgears standing in the middle of the ring awaiting the decision as the ref stands in between them holding their hands, and a split second footage of a boxer (who resembles Steve Cunningham) landing an awkward right hook.
