TeamXbox has posted up nine new screenshots from NFL Head Coach 09. While a ton of screens are already available they have mainly featured the Colts and Tony Dungy along with some of the team facilities and player negotiations. You can check out the new ones here.

These images show off some coaches other than Dungy. Herm Edwards, Jack Del Rio, Tom Coughlin, and Marvin Lewis. The remaining ones display a player auction, combine interview, coaching agenda, and sideline cutscene.

I hate to say it but once again these losers at EA are sucking me in. I truly hope this game turns out well or it will die a fast painful death. Peter Moore is the positive in this because he understands how a sports management game is supposed to play so his input should greatly improve the development of this game.

I like where they have a “coach reaction” to a play. It’ll be interesting to see how that plays into the game. How do your players react differently if you’re a nut like Mike Ditka or if you’re cool and collected like Tom Landry.

Is there any word about play calling through your XBL headset? That would give it a level of realism and immersion.

I’m more excited about this game than Madden. I’ll still wait for reviews, though. EA hasn’t won my trust yet.

Now if only Maddens sideline looked as nice as the one in NFL HC. I mean look how great it looks, but I know the game has to be great also. Thats why I say take out Superstar mode an some of those dumb mini-games to free up space for the actual game.
