NCAA Football 09 online dynasty walkthrough

EA Sports has posted a series of PDF documents detailing the process behind running and/or playing in an Online Dynasty in NCAA Football 09. Many screenshots are included in the documents which provide step by step instructions and descriptions. You can find all five of them here (click “tips on setting up online dynasty” on the left).
Also mention is made of the coming online dynasty that features many major media sites. It’ll be interesting given that some poorly rated teams have been chosen such as Minnesota and Notre Dame. How will they fare compared to the users who selected stronger teams? This will also provide an opportunity to get an indication whether the lag problems from the past several years been properly addressed. If the issues with severe lag were to continue that would negate much of the potential of the feature.

I got a question?
Will this show live stats? In other words If my buddy is playing a game will it give me live information such (quarter, time left, current score?) I’m assuming so, but it didnt really address the situation.
I also think it would be cool to be able to click on your buddies game and watch it!

How is it going to work if the commish needs to import real player names into their dynasty? Does the commish have to DL a roster file from the EA locker, and then begin a dynasty, or can this be done at any time?

Bumble, a commish can start a dynasty with edited rosters for people to use. Once a dynasty has started, owners can also edit their own rosters (names,equipment, etc.) but not the attributes.

Ok, so I am my leagues commish- I will DL the names roster via the EA locker, upload that into my dynasty before inviting people, and we are all set?

so if i’m reading this right, if 2 players do an online dynasty, they can’t play each other for every game?
for example, for week one, i am Florida State, and my game is vs. BC (the computer). Can my the other player take over for the cpu? or do we only play head to head if our user selected teams are on each others schedule?

is there a create-a-player option in the off season in online dynasty, like there is in the offline?
and if the commish make created players offline and saves that roster. will it be able to be used in the online dynasty?

…Can’t really blame him. Notre Dame isn’t good, and they had a horrible year last year. Why is it a surprise to consider them a “poorly rated team”?
And I’d be surprised if they win more than 5 games this year.

All I can say is WOW!!!. Impressive set-up the NCAA team has put together. Madden team should have done something similar. With this feature alone puts it head and shoulders above Madden this year.

Thanks, Pasta…can’t wait! Layy off of him and don’t give him crap for calling ND a weaker team. He’s just going by the ratings relative to the other teams. I love Notre Dame and can’t argue with the way he wrote that. I do think Clausen and co. will surprise a lot of people this year, though.

Will Notre Dame actually win a bowl game (if they make one) for the first time in 13 years(0-8) ? That would be a suprise. Notre Dame is horrible and EA has them overrated as far as i’m concerned.

Notre Dame haters are blind and delusional. Yes, last season was bad, but it wouldn’t matter one bit with you nuts. We could go undefeated with an average winning margin of 90 and still be “overrated”. Go suckle Mark May’s nether regions.

At LEAST half of the SEC would either go undefeated or have one loss with Notre Dame’s schedule every single year….Notre Dame sucks, I had more rushing yards than they did 3 games into the 2007 season….oh yeah and I had 0 yards.

When I try to play the other person in an online dynasty..i go to the team selection screen and press ready but when he pressed ready it will kick him out of the game session. why is that?

Can multipule users from one XBOX live account use the onine dynasty? Like say I have an account and my roommate doesnt, can my account control two different schools or does each indivdual school need a player with their own xbox live account?

I am not able to keep my underclassmen. I talk my players in to staying but when I advance the week the players are not on my roster. They say they are staying but they do not. Very frustrating

I have a question guys.
My friend and I have a online dynasty in which I am the commissioner. For some reason every time we get to the post season schedule and we do the Players Leaving stage, his progress never shows up. He'll get players to come back but then when I advance they always end up not being there. My progress shows up but his does not only on that stage.
Do any of you know why this is happening?

when i select join online dynasy it tells me that an xbox live mebership will not let me use this feature
