Facebreaker Discussion in the Forum

While the demo for Facebreaker offered a unique opportunity to try out the Photo Face feature, ultimately it was only a snippet of what to expect from the full game. While I started to see the strategical nature emerge after multiple play throughs, being limited to 90 seconds of intense gameplay wasn’t the ideal way settle into the full experience.

Todd Batty, who previously headed up the highly acclaimed NBA Street: Homecourt, is the lead designer for Facebreaker. He has expressed a desire to interact directly with the community and has now started posting in the forum. There you can leave any questions, talk strategy, or discuss anything else with him as it relates to Facebreaker!

I played the demo and can’t for the life of me figure out who would actually pay to buy this game. Is the target market button mashing 8 year olds?

EA is totally catoring to the casual fan this year. I guess their target age bracket for all their sports games this year is 5-14. Even Madden looks arcady this year. 2K basketball is the only true sports sim we have left. EA’s NHL series is ok & FIFA Soccer is great but afterall it’s soccer. Enough said.

After playing the demo, this game has about as much depth as a kiddie pool, maybe less.
