As some of you may have already noticed I have installed a new comment system. This one seems to work well in both Firefox and IE and has replies show up in threaded form. It also allows registered users to give a “thumbs up” or “thumbs down” to any particular comment. I’ll be looking to find a way to allow for the editing of comments in the near future.
I’ve started back using Twitter so anyone that would like to follow along here is my address. I’ve also added the last two updates to the sidebar. I’ll be leaving messages on there pretty frequently from now on. In some cases they may relate to the site but in others it’ll just be whatever is on my mind at the time.
Is there anyone who would like to help create a Pastapadre t-shirt? Shoot me a message through the contact form.
While the problem with public sharing of roster files in NCAA Basketball 09 continues, the group of volunteers who worked up the rosters at Operation Sports has completed the file. For now those on the 360 would need to send a friends request to the gamertag OperationSports. Once accepted you will be able to download the file out of the locker. After getting the file make sure to remove the gamertag from your friends list. Not sure what the best procedure will be for those on the PS3 yet.
What non-sports games are you playing right now? I’m about to get into Left 4 Dead and still have to get through Gears of War 2. I’m also looking forward to putting time into Scene It: Box Office Smash and Little Big Planet.
Not sure but you may want to register here: http://www.intensedebate.com/ What's cool is that you can use the same account to post at multiple places if they use the same system. One place I've found that they do is http://www.slashfilm.com/

What is weird is that I am logged in to the PastaPadre site but I still have to list my name before I can submit a comment and my logo no longer appears.
Justin Tuck
where's the nba 2k9 review you promised?
JR (cabrillo24)
Pasta,
NBA Live now $49.99 MSRP

Pasta,
NBA Live 2009 now $49.99 on Xbox 360/PS3, $39.99 on Wii, $29.95 on PS2, $39.99 on PSP.
I know this is a price redux for the 360/PS3, I don't know about the other systems. I guess EA isn't locked to a certain price or the deadline for a price lock has passed.
Is EA reading my comments lately? First they concur with what I said about the game working on two engines, and now they agree with me on a price redux.
Here's hoping....
+ Superstar Mode + NBA Store: Shoes, Retro Jerseys, gear etc. + Classic Teams + An InDepth OWNER mode + Attendence variations + MVP award to learn towards overall team improvement, record and stats vice stats + Add NBA Street Mode + $29.99 - $39.99 MSRP or EA Season Pass + Broadcast games in ABC/ESPN + Pre-Game introductions + Warmup Jerseys + Have synergy watch individual matcups, so you'll see a SF like Bowen and Artest guard a SG like Kobe.
Oh, and invite me to the community day :)

Sure, buddy, the EA marketing team is eagerly waiting for your suggestions...
I play only basketball games on and off the court in my limited freetime, all other mission-based action games, like FarCry 2, GTA4, Assasins Creed are getting boring after a little while...

I'm an avid sports gamer and rarely play anything but a sports title, and I have to say that since COD 4 I have been anticipating this game and it hasn't disappointed me whatsoever.

I've been playing Fable 2 the most but I have at least 2 dozen games I need to play (still in wrappers). The market is saturated with too many good games, where back in the day there would be about a handful. I may have to go to a subscription based service instead like I do with Netflix. Any recommendations anyone?

Hey Pasta, we pay $60. for our games I just think that we should have full control of any roster movement we choose even if it is all star teams or international teams. I hate being restricted in MY GAME THAT I PURCHASED. All I wanted to do was put carlos boozer on USA and remove amare stoudamire like in real life but It will not even let me do that. Also does anyone want to tell EA cj miles is left handed or do I have to change it manually.......... Oh wait I cant do so because EA does not let you change that either can anyone please let me know if I am missing something here
Anthony
Call of Duty: World at War is a non-sports that I'm playing. I'll send a friend request to OperationSports, thanks for the info.
