This time around we discuss some of the recent game announcements, the change to the pitching mechanics of MLB 2K9, and the patches for NBA 2K9 and NCAA Basketball 09.

Ya I'm not sure what it was, but fastballs weren't fast, and breaking balls were floating and had very early movement. I know it wasn't a slider issue, because when I had pitch speed up near 70( I think that's what it was...haven't played the game since March because it was so bad) it was still floating.

What do you mean exactly by "sharp"? I kinda think I know what you're getting at and recognized it to a certain degree also. I'm not sure how much of that had to do with the right analog pitching with accuracy/power factored in.

Pasta, with the MLB 2k8 pitching mechanics i noticed that the pitches were much less sharp than they were in 2k7. Was this something you picked up on?
