In another initiative that is intended to connect fans of the games with the developers EA Sports has launched a community focused blog. You can check it out here. The majority of the updates on the first day were done live from the Madden Bowl in Tampa. In the future it will be used to provide a behind the scenes look at the studios and the people that work on the games along with event coverage and more to come.

EA also used the occasion to announce that the first info for Madden 2010 will be posted on the blog during halftime of the Super Bowl. You can read about that as well as profiles of some Madden producers here.

In a blog on Operation Sports they said that Madden 2010 will be a full representation of what we see when we watch an NFL game on tv. That's music to my ears but we shall see!
