Again the EA Sports Community Blog has come through with an intriguing posting. This time it is the first screenshot from a work-in-progress NCAA Football 10. Given that we would not normally get a look at the game this early in the year it is more of a glimpse or a tease than the standard screens that are usually put on display. Still it is exciting to get a little something already considering I’m still going strong with NCAA 09 with multiple Online Dynasties.

Why shouldn't they? I never would have expected to get to see something from NCAA Football 10 today so this is a big bonus even though it isnt much

Details… Man I love how EA always gives you information and screenshots months in advance. The developers do a great job in keeping you informed with what new is coming… Unlike 2K… I still don't know the features in the Baseball Manager game has…lol.

Epic! I give it a 10/10 already. Is it too early for that?

I'd love to see EA make the models in NCAA and Madden bigger on screen. One of my biggest problems with this game is with how small the models look in action.

I remember when I used to be naive enough to think that screenshot was any kind of depiction of how the game would look. Think about it people, they haven't changed the engine of the game, there's no possible way the actual game is going to look like that screenshot.

EA is full of shit!!!! think back to the very 1st trailer to madden in 05 that shit looked crazy!!! but the actual game has never come close.we all got had, none of this stuff is (NEXT-GEN)!! MICROSOFT & SONY should of waited till 2010 to debut the 360 & PS3.. None of these games are even on a high def disc, where there is way more storage space.. seeing is believing imo!!!

Some of the comments here are why people hate blogs. Name ANY (other than Bill Walsh College Football of course) college football series other than EA Sports that even comes close. I too want more from my next-gen system when it comes to this game, but guess what…life doesn't always give me what I want. I'll be happy if they add I-AA schools, create-a-school, and actually allow me to get a pass rush this year. Last year's game was the best on next-gen.

People, chill with all the curse words and wait to bash something you haven't even seen yet. It's really not that serious.

I just hope they add the same lighting to this game that Madden 09 had. It really took the environment up a notch.

They need to also add PROGRESSIVE LIGHTING! We had that like 10 years ago. Along with REFS, CHAINGAINGS, & REAL LOOKING SIDELINES WITH REAL COACHES & COLLISION DETECTION.

^^^You've gotta be kidding. The lighting in Madden 09 sucked ass. What we need is the lighting from Madden 07, now THAT's what lighting is supposed to look like.

I think the pic is excellent however when you play NCAA 09 and zoom in during replays the helmets look just as good….Still, nice to see EA getting info out…Can't wait to hear about the features is this year's game.

Hope EA gets back in the game and adds team-specific entrances, classic teams and jerseys….

I don't know why people keep saying this looks like Madden. Look at the picture… it's using depth of field blur effect (can you guys not see that, lol?), Madden does not have this and there are clearly more polys being used here than Madden 09 had which can turn out to be a bad thing if other things suffer as a result… but the bottom line is it doesn't look like Madden 09.
