ESPN has an exclusive preview for Fight Night Round 4 which goes over the game in detail in a Five Things You Need To Know article. Gameplay changes, graphics, and career mode are all discussed. You can check it out in full here.

The premise is all about lacing them up and defining your legacy in whatever division you decide. And when I say legacy, I’m talking about everything from you never really made it to be anything bigger than a bum to being considered a club fighter, and then there’s becoming a champion, becoming a hall of famer, becoming a legend of the ring, and becoming the greatest of all time. And the stuff that factors in to how you’re perceived are numerous. There’s your record, your quality of opposition, and then things like your popularity and your pound-for-pound status.

Looks great. They listed the release date as June 30 as well, so maybe that was the right release date afterall.

Hopefully the career mode is as deep as they say, because that was the only weakness in the past Fight Night games.

Excited for this game. With this and UFC coming out right around the same time, going to be a great tine of year if your a MMA/Boxing fan, or if just like those kind of games. It's kind of crazy to think how these games are evolving. I don't know about you guys, I was always a gamer, but always thought when I got older that I would lose the itch. Well, I'm 25 (26 in June) and the itch has only gotten stronger with these next gen consoles, HD TV's, and that whole full-time job/making money phase of my life. I don't see myself anywhere close to putting games down, they are too much damn fun. Pe@ce out homies.

Well, The GIRD, I'm right there with you. I'm 35 and still love video games. It's my main hobby and I will never give games up. They have gotten just too awesome, especially how well sports games have evolved into everything I wished them to be when I was growing up.

What guys that played sports on the field will find as they age, is that the mind is still willing but body isnt. Your hand/eye coordination is still solid but your knees or maybe your shoulder are worn out. So you appreciate a good sports video game even more as your get older to get your fix!

This game is looking great. Read the preview in OXM.

I certainly hope that Buster Douglas gets in. Can't have Tyson without reliving that upset. Remember it as if it were yesterday. Oh, and Peter McNealy and his "Cocoon of Horror".

You right Ski. This should be another great Fight Night game. If I enjoy this more then I enjoyed Fight Night Round 2 then I'm satisfied.

So can I ve Mike Tyson in this game or he just endorsing because that would be huge since like what 1990s
    he had Punchout

  • Evander Holyfield

WTF! It is a well known fact that Evander Holyfield's Real Deal Boxing is the gold standard that all boxing games aim to achieve. It was so realistic you had to play it with a mouthpiece.

  • Buster Douglas

When are they gonna put me in? I get passed over every year and I know the people feel they are cheated by not having James "Buster" Douglas up in this game. The best boxing game ever was James "Buster" Douglas Knockout Boxing for Sega Genesis. Most realistic boxing game ever! You know it be true

  • Mike Tyson

BS! My game Mike Tyson's Punch-Out set the bar that no other sports game can compete with. What other PAST sports game can you get others to play with they see it? huh? I'm the Clive Davis in the video game world all I do is make hits! EA came up to me because they wanted a winner because they know I can push those units!
