For day two of the NCAA Tournament I went with #5 Florida State against #12 Wisconsin. This East regional match-up will be played on Friday night scheduled at 9:55 ET. The downloadable “Bracket Pack” is now working. Unfortunately it doesn’t appear they’ve gotten the courts properly assigned. This game was played on Villanova’s home court yet the real game is taking place in Boise.
This time around I decided to create a Top Five highlight reel via EA Sports World. Continue on to read a short recap and check out the stat screens and video.
This was a slower tempo game that was competitive until early in the second half when FSU went on a 14-2 run to pull away. After that the team held strong for a comfortable 74-58 victory. Where both point guards lit up the scoreboard in the Cal-Maryland game this one was much more balanced. FSU’s PG Toney Douglas led the team with 23 points. Wisconsin got a strong performance out of center Jon Leuer who had 16 points and 12 rebounds.

I like Siena but the big problem is that Ohio State is virtually playing a home game…Normally, when a big school plays a lesser known, if the game is close the crowd usually pulls for the underdog. That won't happen at UD Arena.

I beg to differ. On to round two! GO BADGERS!

You're the man, Pasta. I like the pick.

I picked WKU, VCU, American all to win, I was so close. For some reason everyone believes wisconsin has a shot in this game, and everyone is high on the Big Ten all of a sudden.
Watch out for my terps tommorow against Memphis, everyone might just be suprised by the ending score.

I think Memphis showed that they may be a tad overrated…Maryland can knock them off…I don't think it would come as much of a shock….

I think Wisconsin has a chance. They play good D and can use their big men to drive inside. Don't count them out just because they're in the Big 10.
About Maryland though, I do have them beating Memphis and going to the Sweet Sixteen. I wouldn't have minded if Memphis lost yesterday though because Maryland would almost certainly have beaten Cal. Norton.
