FNR4 Heavyweight Roster Revealed

IGN has released the roster of heavyweights that will be included in Fight Night Round 4. The seven fighters will be Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, Eddie Chambers, George Foreman, Joe Frazier, Lennox Lewis, and James Toney. Head on over to see screenshots of each one.
Apparently though there is one heavyweight being kept secret. Any guesses as to who that could be? These are obviously some big names but after seeing that UFC roster it feels a little underwhelming.

Yeah I'm pretty dissappointed with the roster being so small. I was hoping at least 12 from the heavyweights. It could be Vladi Klitschko, Evander Holyfield (I wouldn't be surprised he doesn't get in cause of his alleged HGH/steroid use), or maybe an old school guy like Joe Louis.

I'm guessing the SECRET heavyweight boxer is an unlockable Tyson with FACIAL TATTOO. LOL
Seriously I wonder is the boxer creator if they include facial tattoos since Tyson is in the game.
I know we all laugh at him but if you are old enough to remember him in his prime he was the most powerful boxer I have ever seen. A beast!!! The way he would attack people… it was scary.

What I was hoping for was a current day roster with the legends being unlockables and having their own career mode in their own era. The game will still be fun though, and I can name some current heavyweights. Don't come on here assuming that you know what others know, makes you look like a troll.

EA really dropped the ball on this! I was really hoping that this wouldn't happen but leave it up to EA to let us down. I mean it's great that Tyson's finally in the game but just because we have Tyson doesn't mean that you can shorten the roster. Maybe they thought that people wouldn't care if the heavyweight roster was short because of Tyson. Where are all the current heavyweights (not that there's that many)? Where are all of the other great heavyweights? Joe Louis, Larry Holmes, Sonny Liston, Floyd Patterson, Riddick Bowe? I really hope that there are a lot more than seven boxers in the other weight classes. I'm glad they finally got George Foreman in though.

If EA came out & said that they were pushing the game back until November just to get in all the great heavyweights in the game, I would be more than willing to wait! Please tell us that there's a possibility for DLC down the road to add more fighters! This short heavyweight roster along with no option to use button controls is really putting a bad taste in my mouth about this game so far. I'm sure it will be a great game but it's no longer my most anticipated game this year! As much as it pains me to say it, it looks like Madden 10 has taken that spot.

Most of the boxers that some of you have listed is in 2ks boxing game. Boxers in 2ks game:
Archie Moore, Rocky Marciano, Larry Holmes, Joe Louis, James Braddock, Floyd Patterson, Ken Norton, Samuel Peter, Andrew Golota, Shannon Briggs, & Sergie Liakhovich. So EA didn't drop anything 2k beat them to the punch and signing them. You will just have to create them with the Create a Boxer (CAB) feature.

i severely hope that the rest of the divisions are a bit more loaded with current guys. Granted the Hwt div sucks dong right now so im not all that dissapointed but they bettter come strong with the other divisions, or sadly let us know that a ton are available via downloads.

Have any of you guys that are complaining played FNR3 or the fight night series at all??? If you have then I have no idea as to why you are complaining because go back and look at the rosters and you will see that this is a upgrade. IF you havent go rent it and you will see why FNR3 was considered the best boxing ever.
The roster's are intended for exhibition and online, when you play your career you will get to create a boxer. There is a reason why this game is highly anticipated, the EA knows what they are doing when it comes to boxing, everyone needs to chill.

Everyone does need to chill but I was hoping for more. I can't tell you how much I would have liked to see Joe Louis and Rocky Marciano in this game now at best its only one of them. Then they could have had the best 4 heavyweights ever on this game.
This is a little disappointing but not that big of a deal to me.

I think EA made a mistake by releasing the heavyweight roster as I think people are confused and think this means that this is the *whole* roster… someone can go back and check but I'm pretty sure FNR 3 had around the same number of heavyweights… remember that there will be other boxers in other weight classes as well!
