A new producer video for UFC 2009 Undisputed has come out focusing on the career mode. Areas discussed include the creation, training, and reputation aspects of the mode. As with any career mode it is impossible to judge how good it will be beforehand however it sounds as though they’ve got a good base given the circumstances.

Created fighters will be allowed for online play which is an especially appealing angle to the career in that the fighters are improved for that competitive arena. Continue on to watch the video and leave your thoughts in the comments.

I'm still not too sure how I feel on this game. I thought the demo was a lot of fun but I feel like this game could get old and repetitive pretty quick. I'll probably wait for about a month after release and see what people are saying.

If you don't know anything about MMA, you probably won't enjoy this game. It is not Fight Night in a cage, nor is it pro wrestling. But if you understand the complexities of grappling, striking, and submissions, I think this is going to be well worth the wait.

I guess I'm in the minority here, but I've never enjoyed watching two guys dry hump each other in the ring. I've tried to watch UFC before, but it always ends up with two dudes rolling around on the ground together for five minutes straight. Hope the game is good, though, for the fans of the sport.

I'm with you, I watched the main event last month with Anderson Silva and it was ridiculous. The two guys didn't throw a punch at each other for over 2 whole minutes, they literally stared at each other and pretended like they wanted to fight.

That said, the game is awesome, you don't have to fight that way if you don't want to because the fighters that are on the floor all the time, that is their style. If you want you can just pick strikers who just throw and kick. That's what I'm looking forward to because I don't enjoy watching/playing the ground game either.

I hear ya. The screen shot on this post sums it up for me, though. Those two are having way too much fun with each other if you ask me. But, hey, like I said before, to each his own.

I had the same thing happen to me twice. They are really good about getting another console to you. I think from the time I called to the time I had my replacement console was less than two weeks. Of course, I'm here in Texas and the plant is here in Texas so I'm sure that had something to do with it.

Sucks, though, that so many people have had this happen to them. At least they fix it for free.

god no dont make us forced to go through career mode ovr and over to give our created fighters decent attributes. I dont care about online I just want to make left out fighters and use them with my friends. they ruined their wrestling game by doing this.

Why is everyone acting like you have to get one or the other? Why can't you get both FN4 & UFC? I know I am. They both offer different experiences. You can't compare the sweet science of boxing to UFC. It's like saying I'm gonna buy NBA 2K10 over Madden 10. Two different sports.

this game is awful in career mode, you have to gain levels to do any power moves or kick someone in the head.. so i fight kendall grove for 20 mins beating him to death punching him in the face and he hits me with one head kick (which i cant do but my opponents can?) and i get knocked out, tonight is the first night ever have i almost smashed my xbox.
