FNR4 Demo Footage

From my short time having played the game it is graphically and technically impressive and certainly seemed fun but the issues being noted appear to be justified.Bing is a really overlord!! support Bing~~

Button haters are trying to hide the fact that they are slow with the buttons. Fact is EA knows that there are more people not quick enough to utilize the buttons the correct way so they made everybody punch the same. The only thing about it is the stick takes speed and instinct out of the game, and what the h--- happened to the ducking? This game is only better than FNR3 because there is no parrying, another instinct killer.

some one please tell me they have the button configuration settings... number 3 from fn3... please!!!!!!!!

Im going to put it like this ufc is for the arcade style players ane fnr4 is for the more technical/strategized type players and can u guys plz stop comparing fnr4 to ufc or ufc to fnr4 because its pretty fucking annoying everytime you say sumthin about fnr4 people always talking bout ufc i dnt want 2 fucking hear bout that i want to hear about the game i wanted to hear about i mean they are both good games and plz stop complainin about how u cant use the buttons on fnr4 noobs

My question is how come on the Screen Shots Ricky Hatton has the Hitman Tatoo on his back but on the Videos the Tat is nowhere to be seen?

They have updated the game since the demo build.

Is there some kind of rule that one must compare FNR4 and UFC in order to make a judgement? Why not just consider each game on its own merit, rather than making mindless comparisons between two games which have very little in common other than the fact they involve punching.

From my time with the demo so far, which albeit isn't very much, I have been impressed. Graphically, it is very impressive and the gameplay is also fun and intense. I am finding it difficult to adjust to the controls though, however I'm hoping this will improve with practice. Having said that, perhaps it would be nice to have the option of using face buttons. Despite this omission, it is more important to me that the controls respond as they should, and this is the case.

DOES EA NOT REALIZE THAT WHEN YOU GET HIT WITH A FLUSH UPPERCUT THAT SH*T HURTS? MY BIGGEST ISSUE WITH FN3 IS THAT YOU COULD LAND 100+ POWER PUNCHES & IT WOULD ONLY TAKE A LITTLE POWER FROM YOUR OPPONENT. WTF? THAT IS NOT REALISTIC! HOW ABOUT ONE OF THE GUYS AT EA GET IN THE RING WITH MANNY PACQUIAO & LET HIM LAND THAT MANY POWER PUNCHES? SEE HOW LONG THEY WILL LAST! I WAS REALLY HOPING THEY WOULD FIX THAT ARCADE CRAP IN FN4 BUT FROM THE LOOKS OF IT THEY HAVEN'T. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!

Man they got Manny way too slow! Manny's has the quickest hands out there & that needs to show in the game! Where are all the combos & signature punches? I watched the vid on Gametrailers with Tyson vs. Ali & Tyson looked slow too! In real life Tyson had devastating combo's & I don't see any of that in the game. So much for this game being sim. This game has arcade written all over it. It will still be fun but I guess I had my hopes up being that we've been waiting for this game for 4 years.

i dont understand how u can judge the game based on two retards having a slugfest in the middle of the ring and having absolutely no strategy. If u've seen some of the gametrailers vids than u would no that strategy becomes a big part of the game. Also the vids of tyson and ali abviously show everyone's punching is not the same, all we need is a video with actually good players to show how good this game is.

EA Sports has decieved us with trailers before. The proof is in the user gameplay videos. The proof is in the past 5 years of EA Sports boxing games. The truth is not good people.

Fact is I did grapple for 2 years in the military just to stay in shape and let me tell you, its a real man's sport. We hit each other with barely any padding on our knuckles and messed each other up pretty good, but we were all good sports about it. None of us bragged about what we did becuase most people just dont understand it. I remember my Lt pulled me aside one day and asked me why I was comming into work with black eyes all the time....then he started to go twice a week also cause he loved it. And for those on these boards that know what I do for a living then yall can imagine how it comes in handy for my job.....it absolutely works and people get this funny look on thier face like, "WTF just happened?"

I think when Royce Gracie defeated Art Jimmerson @ UFC 1 he proved that Boxing is NOTHING against Brazilion Jiu Jitsu. My son will be in Jiu Jitsu class as soon as he is old enough. Cant wait.

I would get UFC but Tiger is out soon also and I havent bought Tiger since 07 so I am looking forward to it. I will pick up UFC when the price drops but it looks like a great game. Ground game is where you will find me. To me UFC will be more fun than Fight Night for several reasons. In the UFC you can box and stand up the whole time in a slug fest or you can take it to the ground. In fight night all you do is box which get boring.

My problem with any boxing game (Fight Night included) is that it's all button mashing, or now it's right thumb stick mashing. There's no real strategy when you're playing against anyone. You just keep pushing the right thumb stick and beat the hell out of your opponent. The boxing games get old so fast, okay maybe Punch Out never did because that was so over the top and fun. I still have to try UFC but I can't compare it to a boxing game because it's not the same sport. Sorry this comment sucks.

From my time with the game I didn't get the sense you could stick mash and have much success against a decent human opponent. Not sure if the same will be said about the CPU AI.

Then I stand corrected. Perhaps EA finally made a boxing game that reflects the sport. It just didn't look that way in the footage you uploaded from the demo.

There is no way you can say that they punch the same. This is a demo mind you, and paquio and hatton are two similar boxers. No chance you can judge the entire game based on 2 of the 49!! Different fighters in this game! And graphicaly it looks much better than ufc cause of the new physics

Anyone that compares this to FN3 is crazy. The visuals are much improved. I think the depth perception is excellent, making it seem as if the fight is taking place in a real arena. The crowd also looks great. This is not even mentioning the cloth physics.

I will hold my final judgment until I get the change to try the demo. I am not certain where the UFC vs FN4 chants began but why? Both games will differ enough where having both in your library will be a bonus.

EA bashing is getting tired....
