Glimpse at NBA Live 10 Game Intro

It looks like Dwight Howard has posted the first video showing off NBA Live 10. The footage comes from a media event yesterday with the introductions and pre-game rituals on display. While it doesn’t offer a lot it does show a change to the intro presentation and how the game will have a bunch of signature rituals not just Lebron’s powder toss as featured in the only screenshot released thus far. wwwwwooooooowwwwwww wat a bunch of live haters here. you can pretty much tell the gameplay is gonna be much better from the way howard does his rituals..THEY'RE SMOOTH. and secondly, 2K FANS are jus mad bcuz mike wang works with ea now, helpin their gameplay instead of bs 2k. 2k is horrible in gameplay. they cover up their bs with tons of bogus ANIMATIONS. LOL. But enough about 2k…………Live 10 = SUCCESS 2K = dunkfest.

Well in a video clip I saw that the crowd jumped when Griffin dunked, and carried signs, but who knows how much more is being put into that. The lack of enthusiasm from the crowd takes away from the experience in past games. In 2K the crowd gets on its feet, which was a very nice touch.

pregame clips are just fluff. Doesn't make nor break the game. Gameplay was decent last year and the bells and whistles were good as well. May not be at the same "SIM" level as 2k but it has its own flavor and it comes off nicely.

I am sure that Live will expand upon this and be improved, just as I am sure that 2k will also be improved upon. The fact still remains that Live fans prefer Live and 2k fans prefer 2k. I dont expect much bandwagon jumping in this genre at all.

Mike Wang has already stated that he's fixed the robotic movement, The broken rebounding and all the other things that were akward and broken from Live 09. He even said the technology that Live has will take this game farther than anything 2k can do. 2k is just a PORT from the ps2 days all your gonna get is new animations every year thats it, no new footplanting just more sliding, not more control just more animations that take away from control. I2k's the same engine its been every year since 2k2 just expanded on. If wang says he hasn't been this excited over a basketball title then thats saying something.

Wait til gameplay comes out, i think alot of people are gonna be singing a different song.
