that trailer was GARBAGEEEEE how about some real gameplay.During the whole video it was all glitz you cant even play from those angles so what were they really trying to show.What they improved the presentation.......BIG DEAL they shouldve been done that NBA LIVE blows

It looks like Live in 2K's clothing. They added a few things that makes 2K great but still kept Live's overall mold.

There's something about there mo-cap technique that is off. Even though they use NBA players, somehow they still look clumsy and herky-jerky. It might be the speeds at which the animations are played out, but I just can't put my finger on it. Hopefully the gameplay is on point.

I just noticed that the video doesnt really show any "Total User control" or whatever, because everything shown on this video is like a 3 second canned animation. Im not a hater on EA or 2k, cause i buy both of them every year, i hope EA is alot better this year, and i hope 2k actually changes itself up a bit.

You put them both side-to-side and ask which one looks like a real broadcast, and 2k will blow live out of the water.

Get your facts straight before you bash one of the greatest sports games of all time. and im not just saying that. check any videogame site's reviews for 2k and compare it with the NBA Live of the same year. they are usually 2-3 pts higher than live. Live 06 had a 5.9 while 2k6 got an 8.5, then live 07 got a 6.0, while 2k7 got an 8.4, then 08 got a 6.9, while 2k8 got an 8.5, then 09 got a 7.5, while nba 2k9 got an 8.5. check IGN.com. thats what the reviews were. and other sites like gamespot and gamerankings also had similar ratings.

Of course i follow their ratings, i have watched in-depth video reviews of both NBA live and 2k for the last 7 years. 2k has dominated every year. ask people who play both games and they will tell you that NBA 2k is the better game. its as close to real-life as you get. And who told you its a PS2 engine? you don't even know anything. they have altered that engine so much before it reached the 360 and ps3.

What are you talking about when you say 2k7 is better than 2k9? have you seen or even played 2k9? the graphics and player faces are as close as a videogame gets in nba 2k9. just compare it with any other 2k games or any live games. 2k9 is the most realistic basketball sim to date. GET UR FACTS STRAIGHT.

the graphics look like they have taken a step back to the previous-gen, and the players still move robotically, nothing like the smooth animations of 2k9.

The bottom line is that this game has so much work to do to just catch up with NBA 2k6! thats how far behind NBA live is!

are you kidding me? 2k9 is so much better than 2k8. they improved the physics and the defense drastically. 2k9 is as close to real-life as you get in a videogame. i plug it into my 72" 1080p tv and it looks like im watchin a game on TV.

not gonna lie im a pretty big live fan and thought this year they were finally gonna take over nba2k but if those are the final graphics it looks pretty lame. those graphics were really bad and thats kinda disappointing to see.

i know i mean these graphics are worse than live 06, 07, 08 and 09 combined. and NBA 2k6 still looks better than all of those games including nba live 10!

I hate to say this, but that's got to be the worst movement from a basketball game ever. I cannot believe they are aloud to sell this game and actually charge $60. They should be forced into lowering the price as the graphics are just not up to industry standard.

we are not haters, its just the truth. the trailer for NBA 2k6 is better than this trailer. that shows how far behind EA really is with NBA Live. 2k right now is four years ahead of NBA Live.

Lives gameplay will never be in the same ball park as 2ks unless they completely start from sratch, i interpret this for the better for Live, not bashing at all, could really care less about 2k or Ea, its really sad they cant improve on gameplay, cause graphically they almost got it down. I always thought if a basketball game had Ea's graphics and 2ks gameplay, you would get as close to a realistic game as your going to get. How about quitting the hype EA and start really doing some work, cause you havent got my money since Live 2001, and i really would want to enjoy 2 basketball games a year cause I love the sport.
