NBA Live and NHL Soundtracks

The official soundtracks for NBA Live 10 and NHL 10 have also been revealed. While they are no where near as influential as Madden there is still a great deal of interest from artists looking for added exposure. I’m far less familiar with the artists on these soundtracks and the one for Live seems light on songs so maybe more will ended up being added before release. I previewed the Live soundtrack & it is by far the worst in the series. Maybe 2 of those are just OK. The rest is garbage.

Pasta, what do you think the possibility of the team that developed MLB The Show doing an basketball simulation? The Show is a great game and I actually still play the 08 version(with updated rosters) because the game-play and graphics are extremely we delivered. I think that if they got into this sector and formed a great game just like they did with The Show they could swing a lot of avid basketball fans, as we are all waiting for that one true great sim.

out of the three (madden NFL 10, NBA Live 10, NHL 10) madden's soundtrack is clearly the best because they have songs you have actually heard of.

Eh, I've heard of a few of the songs on NHL 10. I don't think mainstream necessarily makes anything better. NHL 09 was a big reason I discovered Protest the Hero. I'd rather listen to something relatively new or obscure and maybe discover something I like.

Neither of these are good, but the NHL one is WAAAY worse simply because of Nickleback.
Also, "Daylight" is going to be so out of place on the Live soundtrack…it's a great song, but just doesn't fit.

That's the first thing I thought when I saw "Daylight" on there. Excellent song but I think it would fit in more with NHL's soundtrack or, even better, a baseball game.

I love jazz. not this new bullshit music. I listen to jazz when i give my order of #1-4 and listen to irish folkdance music from order#s5-10. I give many good BJs and Sexual Positions to guys. So if any1 wants 1 I will do it for a free videogame.

Feels like NBA Live is trying to capture the culture of basketball with this sound track. Most people will be like "who the hell, but they will like this sound track"

we all know that we've not heard of alot of these songs but after we play the game for 3 months we'll be singing them everywhere. just like nine in the afternoon by panic at the disco on nhl 09 or day n nite by kid kudi on live 09. so dont be talkin about how these soundtracks are garbage because we all know that we are all gonna eventually love them anyways.

Last year Live had one of the biggest songs of the year in Kid Cudi's "Day n Nite" now they have nothing special…wow

NBA LIVE10 got a way better soundtrack than madden 10…..the people that make madden..dont pay attention to critic…there lazy..madden its been loosin all its rep since da ps3 came out..the game is faker than ever…let me guess is the MLB still jumpin like JORDAN in his prime…or is the offensive line like still running right past the guy there supposed to block…when is every player gonna be its own sim?????……
