NBA Live 10 Hustle Plays

EA Sports has provided a new video to IGN showcasing more of the “Hustle Plays” that were first mentioned in the previous gameplay enhancements trailer. This time though the video includes actual footage of the game as it is being played from the default gameplay camera. There are definitely some impressive examples of the hustle plays shown and they really stand out compared to what those players would’ve done in similar situations last year. Fast breaks also appear to have improved quite a bit. Continue on to take a look at the video and leave your thoughts in the comments!

    well i think for the past couple of years 2k has one hands down but im riding with live this year for tha simply fact i just want it to get back to where it was ….back in the day i use to grab live an 2k now its just 2k cus live is unplayable ……seeing all the add on to this years game look great an people these are not feature they stated that already ….just add on …feature havent been listed or talked about yet

    At first I was excited about NBA Live this year. With the addition of Mike Wang as the lead developer I was really going considered buying NBA Live because Mike Wang did some excellent work over at 2k. And even some of the "still" shots of Live looked great. But I am sorry, after seeing this video from "our" normal playing angle, live looks like more of the same garbage as before. You can see improvement with Mike Wang's ideas, but the playermodels and the movements looks pathetic. Live needs to redo their entire engine.

    Looks good, they finally are getting the lighting correct, but it basically looks like 2K now, as it seams that they are copying 2K in basketball and football now. Hopefully 2K copies some of EA ideas from the old MVP Baseball franchises, especiall 05. They still don't have the gameplay of 2K Basketball. I guess they are banking that if they make a game that looks like 2K all the people or newbies will come to them because they have bigger name recognition. I don't buy into EA's money hungry games.

      yea exactly, they are messing with uneducated players. Just cause your game looks like 2k, doesn't mean it is 2k. NBA 2k is on a whole different level from LIVE.

    Is it safe to pick Live or 2K by playing demos? Don't know if I'm even getting a console (late November), but I'm afraid I might end up making a wrong choice (too many already made with PS2, should've bought Live 05 instead of sims(very poor) and live 07(subs and 82 dynasty), FIFA 07 instead of 08(poor gameplay) and CL(same), stayed clear of UEFA EUro(poor value) and Live 09(unplayable)).

    Also, big part will be given to Live's FIBA mode. If 2K doesn't seem better than Live, I guess that would make the cut – yet I don't know whether demos tend to reflect the game completely (and does 2K even do demos?)

    the animations in this game still look very robotic.

      exactly! robotic animations have plagued EA for years and are what have separated them from nba 2k.
