Madden 10 iPhone Now Available

Madden 10 hit the iPhone app store last night with a price of $7.99 just in time for the start of the NFL season. For those who purchase it before this evening they get it at that discounted price, after the season kicks off it will jump up to the standard $10. Curious as to the initial reaction to the release I searched through comments being made on Twitter. The response is trending heavily positive with one tweet expressing astonishment that it is better than the PSP version. Another ponders whether it is actually better than the 360/PS3 version. The first review found praises the pick up and play nature but also the depth, along with the graphics and audio. Basically for an iPhone game it’s sounding mighty impressive. I downloaded it yesterday afternoon. I've had a hard time putting it down since. The graphics are better that PSP. It has a season mode in which it keeps pretty in depth stats. And most importantly...its extremely fun to play.

I think the game is great, it definitely makes my 3 hour statistics, and 3 hour anatomy classes go by fast!

I think I'm supposed to say first here.... But anyway, it's IGNORANT to compare an iPhone game to a 360/PS3 game. I know you didn't do it Pasta, don't get me wrong... But come on for that Twitter guy.

Ha for sure. Obviously it won't have the same graphics, or variety of features and modes. But I think its fair to say that someone might be able to find this more fun for them for whatever reasons.

Great that they launched the new app... wonder if the rosters are correct!!! Any word on rosters? I hear by the weekend... I wonder if they realize that the season starts today. Someone should send them the schedule!

I was curious about that too. I know they were at least somewhat up to date since they have Vick on the Eagles and Favre on the Vikings. But I'm not sure if they do roster updates for the iPhone or not.
