Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy Teaser Debut

Freddy is back! Robert Englund has hung up his sweater and glove and is being replaced by Jackie Earle Haley in A Nightmare on Elm Street. To generate some buzz for the film a full-length documentary is being created. The teaser has been released on Youtube. The trailer features Heather Langenkamp, who we saw in previous Elm Street films as Nancy Thompson.

I believe Haley is a great selection for the remake. He did a great job as Rorschach in Watchmen and just gives off that same creepy vibe that Robert Englund did. I also read that some of the movie was filmed at an abandoned church in Gary, IN. That alone is enough to provide a scare.

I don't think it's a documentary about making the movie, but a documentary about Freddy Kruger. It's supposed to be a "real" documentary.
