NBA 2K10 Gameplay Footage

i also agree with Texas...if you dont like the game....DONT GET IT. DONT LET SOMEONE ELSES OPINION CHANGE YOURS, if you like live, get it, its not a life or death choice anyway, i mean its a video game. But i am gonna have to go with 2k10 this year.

NBA2k10's graphics are better. It looks more realistic. The gameplay for NBA2K9 is a little better. I dont know why they changed the gameplay. I have 2k10 for the PS3 by the way.

Wow, i'm loving the commentary. Kevin Harlan is my favorite commentator by the way. It sounds like you're actually watching a game on TV. No skipping in the names, like Madden, and they actually talk to each other. Very good improvement in commentary. The best of sports games so far.

Man what's up with all the overhead passes? How about some chest passes or bounce passes? They do exists ya know.

This really looks the same as 2K9. I think 2K sholld take a year off and bring out 2K12 next. It needs to be refreshed.

Yes, it looks like 2k9 but i am sure when we pick our controllers we will see major differences in A.I.,tons of new animations and it will always going to get better.This game has REAL depth in the gameplay because it has a steady growth in the last years.Every year it's getting better.NBA LIVE 10 has a long way to reach the balanced gameplay NBA 2K has...

People u got to understand.... im a EA Fan, and live looks better... hands down... but who cares, cuz 2k feels like the real deal, gameplay is no where close... 2k has it down packed, from how the ball hits the rim different from different players, to blocks and rebounds.... looks used to matter alot back in the ps2 days... Now its about how it feels, i played the live demo, they have gotten alot better, im going to buy it, because of the pretty stuff, but when i wanna go through a 82 game season with Lebron, im going to be playing 2k10......

Same thing with ferrari and lamborghini, both awesome supercars, but they do it with they're own style and interpretation of what a fast car shuld b.(have both of these 2...not kidding!) Same with 2k and live....I don't want 2 bore or upset n e body so i'll stop here. by the way 2k and live look great, so am I getting live or 2k......YES.

everything looks perfect. they have phil jackson sitting like he usually does. they have real NBA pa calls. like the AY YO, AY YO call. then the lakers organs in the background. the crowd chanting LETS GO LAKERS LETS GO LAKERS. the players look life-like. the introduction looks incredible.

no man its just funny that EA released so many videos and i even played the demo. But this one video of 2k10 completely shattered EA's hopes of competing. ONE VIDEO CAN MAKE LIVE LOOK HORRIBLE!

da game looks good but the most improved part that i see is the stadium atmosphere and the commentary, go back and look at shaqs put back dunk, and checkout the commentators instant reaction to the dunk. ive never heard anything that precise in a basketball game. its so much better

yea, if someone walked in on you and you had the game playing CPU vs. CPU, they would think you were watching a real game and probably would mistake it for a live TNT broadcast. thats how good this game is this year.

So, after watching those two videos, I'm definitely thinking that NBA 2K10 is going to be a much better game then NBA Live 2010. Hell, I'm now even considering getting a basketball game this season after saying that i wasn't going to.

+ Gasol screen setting was good.
+ Pre-game ritual a very nice touch
+ Shaq's tip dunk was very smooth
+ Player tendecies: A.I. Kobe going to the block trying demanding for the ball, posting up the defender

( - ) Too many long passes not being intercepted by the defense
( - ) Too much standing around on plays
( - ) Game appeared sluggish
( - ) Kobe's fake jump shop pass to Gasol was a very painful animation to watch
( - ) Sliding still evident

2K already having solid game play didn't really need to overhaul it, appears they are just playing it safe, modifying it and adding some new features and modes. For most 2K fan's, you can't really ask for more. The commentary was my favorite part of the video, so much more improved.

People saying that 2K looks better than Live seriously need to put away there nintendos. 2K looks choppy and cartoony. At least Live makes the effort to give some realistic gameplay. There'll always be haters but to me this is a no-brainer.....Live wins again this year.

I think the lighting looks better than it did in 2K9. Also, the commentary on Shaq's put back dunk was excellent. Sounded unscripted and off the cuff....

Both games are looking solid....Damn, I am going to be super broke...

For me, I'm hooked on the single player mode in 2k. I never could get through a full season of any professional sports game. But after playing the draft combine, I think I'm going to enjoy 2k...even if it's only 2k9.5. I think that both games have become so good at developing their game within their respective game engines that now, the crowning of the best game has more to do with personal taste and what you’re willing to or willing not to deal with..

look here both live and 2k looks sweet, both got things they lacking on. i just get what i like in a basketball game, but whatsup with wade and melo looks nothing like them on 2k, thats f up i might not never play with the heat or the nuggets, im better off making my on wade
