Arrested Development Movie In Development

Though it has been long rumored and known likely to happen it wasn’t until today that it was confirmed to be officially in the works. The script is being worked on now and the film will include all the main players from the TV series including Michael Cera who had originally expressed a lack of desire to be in a potential movie. The director will be the creator of the show Mitchell Hurwitz and not Ron Howard which was rumored as of late. Howard was the producer of the show and narrator through all 52 episodes.

The cult Fox show had its run cut short in fan’s minds after just three seasons ending in 2006. The push for a movie has been ongoing ever since leading to a roller coaster ride of pessimistic and optimistic reports on the progress being made towards it happening over the past few years. The movie is now believed to begin production in the spring of 2010.
