The news and videos for NCAA Basketball 10 began just a few days ago but now we have our second video displaying the new presentation in the game. First it was the CBS presentation that was shown. The latest video shows off how ESPN is integrated to mimic the broadcasts that the network provides. Depending on the day of the week or the tournament you’ll get the CBS or ESPN presentation in dynasty mode.
What I think NCAA Basketball 10 is really nailing here is that presentation isn’t about cut scenes. I used to think that presentation was the most overrated aspect of games because that was primarily what the companies were doing. Now though they understand it’s about replicating the feel and emotions people have when watching the sporting events on television.
Continue on to watch the video and leave your thoughts in the comments!

October 9, 2009 at 2:19 am

October 9, 2009 at 10:33 am
Marv Albert doesn't work for ESPN though.
October 9, 2009 at 12:26 am

Sure wish Madden would figure it out. What a joke that NCAA hoops is gonna shame EA's best known game.
October 9, 2009 at 1:21 am
EA's best known game I FIFA!
Mo Diddley the fact finder!
October 9, 2009 at 2:28 am
best known game in the States
October 9, 2009 at 1:02 am
This looks great, if they just tweak the gameplay a bit more, i'm forsure getting this
October 9, 2009 at 1:30 am
Presentation looks good but presentation is only a part of equation. The courts and lighting need to improve from previous years and so does the player models. The courts look a little better from what im seeing so far. If the gameplay is improved to the point where this game can be around a overall 8 I will for sure purchase it, but I doubt this game can make that big of a jump. They sure are trying to nail the presentation part though.
October 9, 2009 at 10:34 am
Well they are using the Live '10" engine to drive their game play as they did last year with Live '09. I think there is just a concentrated effort across the board by EA to step it up.
October 9, 2009 at 11:59 am
where is that confirmed? just curious.

presentation looks really good.
i just hope the game play and stuff is better than last year… then i might actually buy a EA basketball game. and take my Noles to the championship
October 9, 2009 at 3:01 am
Wow that's incredible that a sports game is able to utilize two different sets of TV presentations as well as two different sets of commentators depending on the date. Wish that NBA 2K had some sort of TV partnership, TNT in the near future?
October 9, 2009 at 3:38 am
They have the TNT logo on the screen. Craig Sager is in the game and Kenny Smith was once in the game.Don't know how much of a partnership it is though. Kenny, Charles, Ernie in the studio would be as great as Boomer was in NFL 2K5.
October 9, 2009 at 3:41 am
player models look alot better then last year
October 9, 2009 at 10:19 am
they look like ncaa basketball 07 on how they look. still looks way better
October 9, 2009 at 4:09 am
i am NOT buying this game because dick vital is in it… i hate that fucker
October 9, 2009 at 4:44 am
I hope this is a sign of things to come presentation wise from EA. I think that every sports game in the stable could greatly benefit from this same type of approach to the presentation. I am a ride or die EA supporter but I think that the ESPN liscence has been severely overlooked year after year until now. PLEASE DO THE SAME THING TO MADDEN AND LIVE NEXT YEAR……
October 9, 2009 at 6:15 am
Whos gonna do rosters?
October 9, 2009 at 10:13 am
Pretty sweet….
October 9, 2009 at 11:00 am
Im officially excited now, if the game plays like NBA Live for the most part, with focus on College style plays and atmosphere this game will be awesome
October 9, 2009 at 11:42 am
Mot only do I think this is a wise choice for EA and the games presentation, I think it's and obvious choice as far as sports gaming goes. If MADDEN could implement full ESPN and say FOX or NBC presentation, there'd be no stopping them. I'm a huge fan of presentation, it keeps me coming back for more.

October 9, 2009 at 1:20 pm
Do this to Madden next year, EA!
CBS team with Jim Nance and Phil Simms, along with the FOX team with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman (both the A-Teams of their respective networks)
October 10, 2009 at 7:27 pm
I couldn't agree more! The Madden 10 broadcast team sucks ass! Collinsworth and Hammond are a fucking joke! Get CBS and FOX ASAP!
October 9, 2009 at 1:22 pm
I was thinking about finally buying a college basketball game this year but I'd really like to play with my home town team. Can anyone tell me if the Vermont Catamounts and the America East conference will be in this game?
October 9, 2009 at 11:19 am
They always are so I dont see why not
October 11, 2009 at 1:24 am
Thanks, I've never played a college BB game before so I didn't know but now that I do, I hope to get into this game a bit.
October 9, 2009 at 4:36 pm
just think marv albert Doug collins and reggie miller with chris sager for TNT with NBA on TNT with charles kenny and E.J for pre post and half time Show and ESPN with mark jackson jeff vangundy and mike breen Saying "Bang for 3 point shots" with Stuart Scott Magic Johnson and mike wilbon at the the pre post and half time show for Espn, that would be true intergration, damn live could learn allot from their little brothers over at the ncaa basketball dept. would be nice though
October 9, 2009 at 7:12 pm
I believe the people have spoken EA. We love the new direction. Let's see more true to life television broadcasts throughout the sports lineup.
October 9, 2009 at 8:24 pm
Man this is what NCAA Football needs.
October 9, 2009 at 9:37 pm
madden and ncaa football need this
October 10, 2009 at 12:56 am
yea madden would benefit big but you got Fox Espn Nbc and cbs presentations to think about would be interesting though the cillege football seems to mewould fit the bill perfectly espn and abc
October 10, 2009 at 7:12 pm
looks great but the cheerleaders need bigger boobs (just kidding)
October 10, 2009 at 8:41 pm
Wow thats awesome for them to have two full sets of presentation, this needs to be done throughout all their titles . Too bad the game looks and plays like crap tho.
October 10, 2009 at 9:04 pm
That's one thing that most EA sports games have been lacking in the past is good presentation. Looks like they finally realize this now. About time!
