IGN has posted up a hands-on article for NCAA Basketball 10. Primarily discussed is the new CBS and ESPN integrated presentation and the play calling. There are also a few mentions of the raucous crowd and gameplay compared to NBA Live 10. No new feature mentions are made so whether the game has added online dynasty is still unknown. You can check out the full article here.

The one slight change that has been made to the core basketball gameplay is that NCAA moves at a slightly quicker clip than NBA Live. It’s not a huge discrepancy, but it’s certainly there. Another change that will please fans of the college alternative is the crowd. They’re lively as all hell and will shake your speakers, especially if you’re playing in a place like Cameron Indoor.

I'm definitely looking forward to seeing some gameplay footage of this game. The new broadcast integration that they have added to the game this year looks awesome!

Pasta any word on the NBA Live patch yet? Just wondering what they plan on addressing other than the manual post up addition. Overall I think Live is a good game but it has some annoying issues that ruin the gameplay for me. The biggest issue I have is that everytime I drive to the basket I get sucked into a defender as if they're magnets & you get that same animation when there's collision. Also the steal button seems unresponsive. If they can fix this then Live will be great.

+ Hop skip celebration after a made basket frequency
+ 2 handed wind-mill dunk take off rocket dunk removed
    + Back-down button
    + Free Throw Attempt Frequency
    + CPU Time Outs

So far the things that have been confirmed. There is probably more. Marcus Stephenson has stated that the patch will make lots of Live user's very very happy, so take that for what its worth.

I'm just about sold on this, but as everyone else would say — need some gameplay first.

From what I've heard they're doing a lot with the patch. Those are just what has been specifically confirmed.

Remember when OTP came in a patch? Wishful thinking but I'd like to see them add some really good DLC this year, and bring back All-Star Weekend.

From what I have heard Pasta is that EA smells blood in the water and will go in for the kill on that reeling company called 2k. Can you feel it pasta? The tide is turning and the time has finally come when we no longer will have to waste board space talking about 2ksports for anything. This is the final straw that will break the proverbial camels back. The perfect trifecta if you will: MLB2k, NHL2k, and now NBA2k all complete messes and utterly inferior products.

Certainly EA realizes that their efforts have not gone unnoticed, but for many consumers to change what they're comfortable with they have to be upset. It looks like 2K has opened that window and it is a matter of how EA tries to capitalize on it. Sure will be interesting next year.

NCAA moving faster than NBA is good thing, college basketball is all about movement and uptempo. A lot more teams full court press, half court press and run set offenses rather than NBA move the ball and isolation. Cannot wait for this game

I agree. The atmosphere sounds awesome as well. Hopefully they have team-specific chants. I wouldn't mind the MSU student body chanting, "Little sister" when playing Michigan at home….

If they add online dynasty mode I know I'm getting this game for sure. Please don't disappoint EA.

Amen!!! This is the key. All sports games should have this from now on, period. This mode seems like a perfect fit for NCAA basketball too as the tourney would be intense. Make a sweet selection show everyone can watch too that would be the best sports moment Ina long time.

Could it be possible that NCAA will be better than Live? Seems like they really did work on the college hoops game unlike their college football counterpart. If they incorporated the Live gameplay and along with what appears to be outstanding presentation, it seems very possible that the best hoops game this year will be a college one. That would be crazy, but I would love to play NCAA Basketball instead of NBA. For one thing you could actually play multiple seasons because the NBA is way to long to play franchise.

They NEED to remove the temp meter. That kind of ruins the game. UNLESS they make the meter for each team, instead of the overall tempo..
