Trailer for The Road

With the holiday season approaching there are several films positioning themselves for Best Picture consideration. One of them is The Road which stars Viggo Mortensen and Charlize Theron. An adaptation of the Pulitzer Prize winning novel tells the story a father and son traveling through a post-apocalyptic world. The Road opens in theaters on Thanksgiving.

Book is amazing! Movie has plenty to work with and Viggo generally does dark material well. A movie with a plot-radical concept.

Great book - not exactly "feel good" holiday fare. If you've read much of Comac's stuff you have to believe he's not exactly an "Up-With-People" kinda guy

I have only read about half of this book, need to get back in and finish before this comes out.
