Hey Pasta, I was wondering if you are going to do a review of this game. I know how you normally do a review, post some videos...etc, but I haven't seen anything lately. I was looking forward to reading your thoughts on the full version. I know you posted some thoughts earlier when the demo came out but I wasn't sure if you were going to do a full review or not. In my opinion I honestly feel like some of the reviews on other sites have been unfair. Don't get me wrong, I know this game has some faults (as all games do) but it just seems like some people's comments/reviews aren't constructive. They just want to bash the game. This all leads me to my the one question I have been wondering about for a little while..... why is there so much hate (I know that's a strong word) for EA sports products?

There isnt hate, its just that EA dropped the ball across most of there games when it comes to gameplay, and have been focusing on gimicks too much. Go back and play Live 06, 07, 08, and youll see just how bad those games are especially Live 07.
People dont have faith in the EA brand, and sales reflect that. Thats why Live 10 is getting slaughtered in sales comparision to 2k10. Pasta might have more recent numbers but it isnt looking to good for Live. If Live 11 gets less sales next year. You can kiss NBA Live 12 goodbye. Thats just 1 example.

Well, this is actually a good game. So faith in EA or not, this game is a blast to play and the ESPN and CBS broadcasts are awesome! If you love college basketball you will love this game.

And, by the way, the gameplay in NCAA 10 is the best thing, so it's hard to say that EA is dropping the ball here. Actually, it's the lack of gimicks that are keeping people away. No "Be a pimply-faced college kid" mode or "My school is better than your school" mode like college football, but the gameplay is spot on for sure.

No commercials, no hype, doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad game. I'm usually picky about my sports games and when it comes to gameplay this game has it.

Just because Pasta isn't playing it doesn't mean it's a bad game. Decide for yourself and give it a try.

Yeah I'm definitely going to pick it up. I just find it interesting how much people bash on EA and their sports games. It just seems out of control sometimes. If a game is good I'll pretty much play whatever. It just seems like people are so loyal to certain companies and games that they'll go out of there way to make sure they bash a game. Looking forward to playing the full version of this game though.

EA is the best Live 10 is killing 2K10 in every thing gameplay 2K10 can't do what Live can do thats for real gameplay sucks on 2K10 When u play Live 10 it's like im playin Madden gameplay is what count.

I dont have the game, couldn't justify buying it (picked up L4D2 on Tues). I may get it at some point or may wait for the tournament edition to download come March.

Guess what other college basketball game has the 2009-2010 NCAA rosters.

2K's gameplay is so much better than EA's. This is actually the best game yet in the EA College Basketball Series, but it doesnt even touch the 2K version.

This game is fun as hell. Can't wait for the dynamic update. Hopefully, EA will update some of the uniforms or provide more uniforms through DLC....

ppl who are playing college hoops 2k8 over this because they think this sucks are stupid this game is a lot better than college hoops in a lot of stuff especially gameplay and i played the hell outta 2k8. Now 2k8 was very fun(my favorite bball game ever) but it was very arcady alot more than sum ppl want to admit. When i used to play online u could just run down dump it to ur big man for a layup everytime, or just give tha ball 2 a 3point shooter and they made it almost everytime. that being said ncaa basketball is less arcady and its a lot of fun and ur missin out if u dnt atleast try it.

If you're on the fence about getting this game, all I have to say is, if you're a college basketball fan, get this game. The presentation is awesome and having the CBS and ESPN broadcasts really makes the game exciting.

The game is not without its flaws, but recreates the college basketball gameplay well and is a blast to play. I've been playing every chance I get since I purchased it and I am really surprised at how good the game is. It's amazing what no hype will do to a game. I'm just glad I took the chance on it because I am very happy. I'm a big time sports gamer and love the sim aspect of sports games and this game defintely hits the mark. And, no, I don't work for EA. I just know a good game when I play it.

Gotta agree with the people who obviously have played this game before and admit that this is a very fun game. If you like basketball and especially a college ball fan its a must buy. It requires some getting use to and adjustments to some of the sliders to get it where I like it but now I love it and cant wait to to get back home to play it. Got my Memphis Tigers on here rolling and almost tourney in dynasty mode, recruiting class is rediculous for 2010 just like real life HA! but anyway. Things to remember of course its a college game so its different and over 300 teams everything is not exact but they give you more tools than ever to get it where you like it, so once you get your named rosters and edit your players to actually look like themselves (for those who dont or the overly bulky player)with all the right gear its on. And the comments on 2k8 I played it too and this is better and more realistic so dont deprive yourself of a very fun game.

At first I was so excited about what I was hearing about the Broadcasts, Crowd, and the new additions to Dynasty mode...But after renting the game for the week I have come to be a little disappointed due to my high hopes. The Presentation of the broadcasts look great but the commentary is garbage. The crowd sounded good, although sometimes you couldn't notice the difference between upset or excited, and again another key miss--The crowd looks like garbage again. They look like paper people and the movements they make are really awkward and repedative. Lastly the one thing I want to see for next year and what most people would have wanted to see for this year is a Campus Legend Mode...basically if your a huge college basketball fan I would say get the game, but if your an all round basketball fan... get Live 10

For those complaining about clunky movements and gameplay related issues, the key to the game is the implementation of Freestyle Passing. Start using that, the difference is incredible.

Do you have to have an xbl gold account to download?

Does anyone know if you can play online vs people and use your downloaded roster if the player has the same file? I attempted, thinking if we both had the same file , but no names appear, still just the number.

Does anyone know of a roster with freshman, Christian Watford, PF from Indiana University. The game doesn't come with him even listed on the team, and the only rosters I have found that even have him, list him as a senior. He should be listed as a freshman and I cannot find a correct Indiana University roster anywhere. I really don't want to miss out on one of the teams best freshman throughout my dynasty. If anyone has the correct one, let me know. Thanks.

I Downloaded the Roster you said to Download.. How come when I play online the names dont show up only on quick play or season? Also how come the Dynamic updates dont work with the names?
