Major Ghostbusters 3 Story Details

Channel 4 had the chance to chat with actress Sigourney Weaver. Among the things talked about was confirmation that Ghostbusters 3 is being made, and she might appear in the film. Weaver also revealed some of the story’s potential plot details.

“I’m afraid to say it [Ghostbusters 3] is happening, I hope people are excited about that. I don’t know if I’m going to be in it, I have had a couple of calls asking ‘would you read the script’.

“I know that my little son Oscar – who was kidnapped from me – I think he has grown up to be a ghostbuster.

“I might be in it; I see nothing wrong with being in it, although I don’t think I will have a big part. I think Bill Murray has a little more to do with it – he’s a ghost.”

According to IMDB.com all the regulars from the previous Ghostbusters are returning. I’m not sure how I feel about this movie being made. I enjoyed the first two films, but I was also a child when they released. The thought of Bill Murray being a ghost and Oscar becoming a Ghostbuster seems a bit lame. The film is scheduled to release sometime in 2012.
