There has already been an awful lot of promotion for a game that may still be nine months away from release. Earlier today a handful of fighters were revealed to add to the EA Sports MMA roster. The announcements were made to coincide with the upcoming Strikeforce event on Saturday which features all of them in action.
Cung Le, Josh Thomson, Robbie Lawler, Scott Smith, Matt Lindland, Gilbert Melendez, and Ronaldo Souza were all confirmed today.
EA appears to be making a concerted effort to fill out the game with a roster as deep as possible (many more still to be announced) as well as taking advantage of different promotions, settings, and rules that UFC can not. Still these names are unlikely to be recognizable to all but the hardcore MMA fans so how much does an expanding roster affect your interest in the game?
