Possible EA Sports NBA Jam Screenshot

While information on the just announced EA Sports NBA Jam remains scarce and a release date appears to be a ways off what could be the first screenshot from the game has emerged. Originally discovered by Nintendo Everything the image below as since been replaced with the cover for the upcoming Nintendo Power, which will have a blowout of info in the upcoming edition. That could mean it was just a placeholder as at first glance it doesn’t look like a legitimate screen. Or it could be that it wasn’t supposed to have been seen yet. So take it for what its worth as it may or may not be real (update: I’ve now been told that it is a real screen).

i dont really understand… ea sports is competing with itself? or is this a game feature of nba live?

anyone who suggests nba live was an arcade game this year obviously didnt play it. was more sim than 2k10.

I was shooting step back three's at a consistent 60 percent rate you call that sim?? No defense slide button also is sim?? Though 2k had suck a button but no defense at all but atleast the thought of such a control.

if you were shooting 60 percent you were problly a cheater and abusing that problem..and those step back 3's got fixed anyway you'd get shut down all day now..and they have a defense button..its in a different place..I love you kids who make comments on a game you never actually learned how to play so you think it sucks

@ Ken I didnt abouse it I just thought it was funny…havent played the game since i first noticed that problem and even after the patch. the game play of live has is better than it has been in the past but tis still too cartoonish for me, more suited for kids like yourself who wants to play fun and gun games.

Totally agree…. I finally picked up 2K10, while things were obviously better (post game moves) the game was just a mess. Especially if you are look for a sim like game with proper floor spacing, NBA 2k10 was way to crowded on the court still. Yeah NBA Live 10 is the better of the two in my opinion.

Here comes the crying horde of 2K fan boys. What have I done. LOL!

Actually I don't think I even voted. I can tell you this is the first year in a loooong time that i've felt Live to be better than 2K overall. There is no arguing that 2K10 has the better low post game, as well as association mode and presentation, but lets be real about it's short comings….. I don't think I need to pull out that laundry list.

At the end of the day I play the game I like and thats not based on reviews or the opinions of others or sales for that matter.

This is great news for EA sports. Should help revitalize their fiscal numbers. But limiting to only to the Wii is ludicrous. Make it available for all platforms and watch the sales numbers skyrocket. The sports gaming world has been waiting for this return for a very long time.

Bring fun back to sports games. Make it SIMPLE though, quit worrying about so much game depth. Make it quick, easy, simple and FUN and people will buy it. Also don't charge $60 for an arcade style game, charge $40 or $50.

It's ridiculous reading these comments. This is NBA JAM people…. the arcade legend! It's not trying to be a in-depth game with a million buttons to push and expensive graphics. It's meant to be FUN. Good for Wii owners, because we know how to have fun with video games. Now maybe the Xbox360 and PS3 owners can get off their high horse.
