Wild Card Weekend Ratings Suggestions

The final roster update for Madden 10 won’t arrive until the Friday before the Super Bowl but for the sake of keeping track of performance these posts will continue until then. Wild Card Weekend had three boring games before it was closed out by an incredible offensive battle and stunning OT finish.

Some of the names of note that performed well included pretty much everyone offensively for the Cardinals and Packers. Charles Woodson won Defensive Player of the Year so he should see a boost from that. The big names for the Cowboys showed up and Darrelle Revis shut down Ochocinco for the second straight week. Also in consecutive weeks it was Donovan McNabb that struggled immensely as the Eagles offense couldn’t get anything going and Carson Palmer looked terrible against the Jets.

Once again Miles Austin didn't show up when playing against a good defense. He ran wild against #2 and #3 corners, but when you put a true #1 corner on him he can't do anything.

Cowboys lost to one of the final four teams out of 32. Really junior are you serious….Cowboys still get an increase for winning their irst playoff game while eagles and other losing teams take a little hit. Brookings made a fool of his self. If he didnt like what the Vikes did he should have played defense better and stop the Vikes.

If anyone needs an increase, it's Jermichael Finley from the Packers. That guy should at least be in the high 80's. The way he jumps and catches reminds me of Fitzgerald, only he's slower. Rodgers could possibly get an increase in accuracy; it's debatable…though he HAS been deserving a speed increase for a while now. The guy can outrun linebackers. Woodson may be okay at 98…like Rodgers, he's debatable. Underwood and Bush definitely deserve decreases.
