First MLB 10: The Show Feature Focused Blog

As was the case last year SCEA will be releasing regular postings on the Playstation Blog leading up to release for MLB 10: The Show. The first one has arrived offering a detailed look at the 30-Player Franchise Mode. The idea is to allow for gamers to be able to replicate the developments during the MLB season within their franchise. The full blog posting includes some images of the menus and option screens and you can check it all out here.

One of our goals going into this year was to finally enable the ability to mimic your real-life counterpart rosters when in Franchise mode. In order to do so, we had to allow all 30 teams to be set for user control.

Probably the most interesting addition is being provided the ability to manually give players injuries and set the severity and length of time they will be out. Also mentioned is having Single A rosters to work with, real-time waivers, and a new email system for updates.

Ok so the new camera angle..broadcast view is awesome…the complete control roster for all 30 teams..sweet. Gameplay broken-The Show cant throw anyone out at home.
Game Broken-The Show you can run the bases becuase the buttons are all screwed up.
Game Broken-Commentary is like listening to someone taking a shit.

Great Game- The commentary is the best I ever heard in a sports game besides NBA2k10
Great Game-Batters actually move out of the batters box to set up for the next pitch, unlike The Show they are wooden statues.

My baseball game is make or break when it comes to whether or not my guy steps out between every pitch. Ive thrown people out at home so not sure if you now how to play…Ive run the bases and didnt have these catastrophes that ruin my life…the commentary is alright…I would rather see Dan Schulman and someone else but not important…maybe one of the little details for 2k can be steve elaborating on his sexual addiction…rea-time atmosphere..not sure..maybe my education would have made it possible for me to write real time..but if you stubby fingers or in a frantic rage on your day off i could see how you make numerous mistakes….such as a comprehensive way to make a point than terrible little list..
Mike not sure why you have to fight so hard to get nowhere..I guarantee you that if 2k was only for xbox not more than you and your boyfriends would buy the console for that game..but its funny to see all these guys selling their xboxes for ps3s

I got the show for 09, like you siad it was not that great like every one say. I went and bought 2K and trade in the show I think the graphics look better in 2k and I practice hitting and I was doing well. the show is not bad but it not that great. it felt like I was play a game from 2005 with the X and box botton.
