The people have spoken! They love Gerard Butler’s Gamer. The action flick was not only last week’s top selling DVD, but also the most rented. Tyler Perry’s I Can Do Bad All By Myself reign at the top was short lived and fell to second. The more impressive feat was Gamer knocking The Hangover out of the top slot for most rented DVD. The smash-hit comedy had a tight grip on that spot for quite a while. Below is the list of DVD sales and rentals for the week ending January 24, 2010:

Watched Gamer last week, going in I was thinking I'd get an over the top fun “Crank” type movie. It had a lot of action but I really didn't enjoy it at all. Especially since half the plot was identical to “Death Race” which was a much better movie.

I thought the movie was just weird. It had some nice action, but other than that I didn't really care for it. I couldn't imagine someone actually buying it. lol
