Wow I fully expected pasta to bash this game now that EA is competing with it.

He didn't even take any potshots at 2k in this post. He must not be feeling well or something.

Looks exactly like UFC 2009…..Not a bad thing, but not a great thing either.

I agree, I though this game was over-rated last year, but the tweaks that are coming could really help the game. Mixing-Matching fighting styles and better career mode. Last year your fighter never aged, little things like that should be fixed

I honestly think that this series is headed for greatness! I can almost even see it on a Madden Football level. Maybe not as big because football is the #1 sport in the US but it will be a heavyweight. I know it's only the second installment but you've got to be impressed by the work that they've put into this game already. Hopefully THQ won't venture off on some extreme and make the game worse. I think they should add some tweaks here and there as well as gameplay modes to upgrade it. I keep seeing people say that it looks just like 2009. But I say if it's not broke then don't try to fix it. Yeah they look a lot alike but you haven't even played the game yet. The gameplay might be far greater than last years version. Only time will tell!

I've always disliked boxing and all types of fighting sports growing up. I always thought they were so boring. MMA is totally different. There's just so much more involved because it's both the ground game and stand up, and there's so many blends of fighting styles it makes every match interesting.

UFC 2009 Undisputed was a great first step for MMA games (I know there were older mma games from tapout, but those weren't very good). The game was unique and fun, the graphics looked good and the voice casting was the best in any sports game, ever. I'm really going to like seeing how MMA games, particularly the UFC brand of mma games progresses. It's still so young and already so good. It's the only game I think has potential to compete with a title like Madden in the future.
